Lupe Fiasco came in the studio this morning (7-30-12) to promote his upcoming album "Food & Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album Part 1"- which is in stores September 25, 2012- and he got into a heated discussion w/ Foolish about terrorism.
It all started when Mr. Chase asked Lupe about a comment he made about President Obama being a good roll model where he said, "On one hand, you have someone who is a great speaker, but kills little children- our president." In the quote, Lupe was referring to drones, which the United States uses against our enemies.
Foolish- an army vet himself- told Lupe that he feels the US drops bombs to protect ourselves from people who would otherwise drop a bomb on us. Lupe retaliated by saying that he doesn’t believe in war PERIOD, and then the debate on terrorism was on and poppin!
